Face Lift & Neck Lift

The years, the elements, and stress work against us all to create wrinkles and sagging skin on the cheeks, jawline, and neck.

Face Lift and Neck LiftFace Lift

A face lift, or rhytidectomy, improves the appearance of the lower two-thirds of the face by tightening sagging facial muscles, smoothing wrinkled skin, and removing excess fat. This procedure is often combined with a neck lift for improvements under the chin. The surgery is usually performed under general anesthesia. Face lift surgery usually takes between 2 to 4 hours to complete depending on the extent of the procedure.

Following surgery, you can expect to spend about two weeks out of the public eye.

We perform all of our facelifts under general anesthesia for your comfort and safety.

Neck Lift

Neck lift surgery corrects the signs of aging on the neck and the jaw line. It often accompanies face lift surgery for a more comprehensive facial rejuvenation. The benefits of neck lift surgery include:

  • Removing loose, sagging skin from under the chin
  • Correcting visible vertical bands on the neck
  • Eliminating areas of fat from under the chin (double chin) and on the neck
  • Restoring a smooth, youthful-looking neck

Board-cerified plastic surgeon Jeff Morehouse, MD usually performs neck lift surgery as an outpatient procedure in our AAAASF-certified operating rooms. Loose skin is pulled up and back and removed; neck muscles are often tightened as well. The incisions are hidden inconspicuously behind the ears. The result is an enhanced, more pleasing neck and jawline.
